Good value for money extractor fan

I fitted this extractor in my bathroom and mounted it into the ceiling. The extractor is powerful and does what it is designed to do. The mirror also no longer mists up which is nice :) Just a word of caution, don't mount this directly above a vanity, shower, bath or dressing area as the powerful extraction causes a slight draft that can have a cooling effect and is not that pleasant in winter, especially for areas where the temperature gets very low, try to position it where you are not unlikely to stand underneath it. It was easy to mount the fan considering that you have to fit it into the ceiling. The fan comes with three clips that once you have cut the hole, and fitted the fan into the cavity, you simply push them in and over the ceiling board, holding the fan in place. To cut the hole I made a round template with the right diameter from the packaging carton and drew a circle where I wanted to fit the fan. I would suggest climbing into your ceiling first and making sure there will be nothing inside the ceiling obstructing the fan. I then simply drilled a lot of holes close to each other on the pencil line and with a small handheld saw blade I cut from hole to hole until the circle fell out. The clip-on cover went on very easily and I was worried might not be that easy to take off, but there was an indicator as to where the best place is to unclip it when you want to wash it, which worked very well when it comes to removing the cover. I didn't like the branding in the center of the cover and that was simply scrubbed off with the scourer and some soap leaving an overall white cover that blends in better with the white ceiling, but be careful not to scratch it. I connected the fan to a ceiling pull switch as I like to switch the fan on and off separately from the light switch and you can mount this switch anywhere where you have ceiling space. The fan is not silent when in operation, but that's also a good thing because it serves as a reminder to switch it off. I would recommend this extractor fan to others.
