Nice Idea but not working as expected

I Like these bulbs with the load shedding. The problem is you have to leave the light switched on to build up its required charge for it to stay on during a power outage so it doesn't stay off in the daytime and only comes on when the power goes out. It seems the battery doesn't like this so you get less hours over time running on the internal battery only.
